Call To Arms

Call To Arms Against EvilWho makes the call?

Do we wait for the newspapers? No, they never quite get it. Too involved with sensational spins on minor events.

Sometimes the truth is right there in front of us and we’re oblivious to it. We just don’t see it.

Inaction is so easy. Until it is too late… This has always been the case.

We think war can be avoided as long as the media has enough non-violent options, however obscure. Endless “what if’s” for the front pages.

The handwriting on the wall is mocked… All we see today is graffiti….

We no longer take evil seriously.

We no longer teach “good” in the schools.

We are seen as confused, hypocritical, and weak by the forces of evil, the “Armed Forces Of Evil”. We are at war and don’t admit it. Be it on the battlefield with bullets or with hearts.

We have too many distractions… and things to do… and pundits to clarify all that is true.

Violence is still “incidental” and not taken as ominous signals of our jeopardy and our weakness.

Tattoos do not scare away evil. Nor do labels.

Bureaucracies dither and shuffle paper.

We send our few precious volunteer soldiers to disgusting situations with the expectation that they alone will solve the foreign social dilemmas.

NO..!!! It is not working. And we are not united.

War must be declared before our grandchildren will have nothing but a laptop in a cultural jail.

WAR. WAR. Can we not say the word?

Passing a law or giving 500 million dollars to the United Nations will not do anything at all.

Raise your right arm and solemnly swear you will fight every EVIL right now.

You see it… admit it…. Stop doing nothing.

This is your Call To Arms.

Man up.

Helping us search and find where we are meant to go. Helping us make a difference. Helping us not to quit. Hopefully.
