From the book 1-800-OH-MY-DONALD™

First things first.

It’s about the hair.

Can’t get beyond it.

How can such an interesting guy have such a distracting look?

John Lennon! The hair hung down almost over his eyes. The Beatles landed in New York City on Feb 7, 1964. Girls were screaming insanely. Hair has never been the same since.

Older people thought they looked absurd. The young couldn’t stop their feet from dancing. They wanted to dance again…and differently.

After a while you got used to the hair. Ed Sullivan’s greased head was sure a contrast. But the music was finally more important than the hair. To this day their harmony echoes in our heads. Not to be forgotten for generations. Peace and love and hair.

Sometimes we have to look beneath the surface to see what is going on. We have all sorts of investigations demanding that everything is exposed. We demand the truth. Except that truth is found in how you live and whether your words are truths.

Shave the head and do you find out what it thinks?? Or strip one naked and do you know what one thinks?

Spontaneity is paramount. If someone just talks without prompters and talking points you can get a feel of who they are. It’s not the hair.

Which politician has the best hair? Sometimes it helps on TV. But what they say and how they say it is more important. Are they one of us?

It’s a great white baseball cap.

Good hair doesn’t matter.

Some people should never take their caps off.

Or their sunglasses either.

It’s what you hear, not what you see.

Your heart has no hair.

Where did all the crew cuts go?

Author’s note: This writ, originally written in May 2015, is Chapter 1 in the book 1-800-OH-MY-DONALD, a commentary on the politics of our times. It seems that Mr. Donald Trump has stirred the spirit of the nation and forced a long overdue conversation on the inefficiencies of government and bureaucracy and politics.

The book is not an endorsement of any political figure but more so provides the talking points they are missing. LOL

The Donald is sure controversial, but who cares? He has raised the bar.

No chapter is more than three pages and each is loaded frowns and smiles.

The book is humorous and provocative.

“Oh My Donald” OMD: Opinions Of Mass Destruction…. of the status quo….LOL
