No Thanks

No Thanks - Chris Bent It wasn’t until I got old that I finally realized how much a “thank you” meant.

Now our ears await the “thanks” back from the grandkids and friends when we give them something.

A long time ago my in-laws gave me a lot and I don’t remember thanking them. I didn’t say “no thanks” but I did not say “thanks” either…

Maybe it’s just with young people when their lives are so vibrant…and self-absorbed.? “No thanks” … We have all been there. Today the subcultures of the “enabled” are growing at light speed. From cell phone affirmation to YouTube validation “thanks” are thrown out there. No thanks.

My wife always says…” thanks for asking”. The waitress smiles. Her service is recognized. Kinda cool???

Some people have no reason to say “thanks”. Maybe they are in the rubble of the Middle East or in the horror of the upper half of Korea… “Thanks for nothing” …..

“No thanks” to our politicians for being so arrogant to not quickly decide for us. Shouting, denying, accusing…..”No thanks”.

There is always a solution to most everything. Common sense makes it obvious. Business sense makes it obvious. The truth makes it obvious.

“No thanks” for all the debates.

“No thanks” to congress.

“No thanks” for the intrusion of negativism in media.

Our Constitution made it clear. Where is the “thanks” for that?

The Bible made it all clear. Where is the “thanks” for that?

I apologize for not saying “thanks” all my life.

Mom and Dad…. “thanks again”

You deserved better…
