From the book 1-800-OH-MY-DONALD™

Everybody wants better.

Better cars.

Better homes.

Better money.

Better hair.

We could list 100 things we want better without effort.

But wanting better is not getting better. Better only happens if you make it happen. It is also best to list wants in order of importance. Whatever you want the most cannot be distracted by the # 2 want. You have to make real headway on #1 to gain the confidence to juggle #2.The world has to see you make progress .OK… your friends…

Getting better also requires a real commitment. Real effort. Real pain.

Doubt will attack you. Not quitting will see you through.

Better looks so rosy and perfect and easy to attain. But it ain’t. Most people want easy better. And then they don’t get any “better”…

Look at yourself in the mirror. Do you see better?? Do you see want? Real want?

Everybody can get ‘better” if they really work at it. But to get “better” you have to be totally honest for starters, especially with yourself. Then you have to learn respect and manners. Nothing is going to change until you do. Then you have to learn to help others. To get off your “My Horse” and mount the “your horse”.

Want to make America better again?

Start with the same approach. Be honest and caring.

Demand more from your politicians. Learn more about issues. Make your vote reflect how you feel. Better requires a price from all of us. There will be rough times.

The kid will scream and yell until the “NO” is unwavering. You know it could get nasty, but the easy way is to stand fast. Better is at the end of a tunnel. Don’t quit.

Our forefathers wanted better.

They wrote a Constitution.

It was seeded in some 10 Commandments from a long time ago.

Believe in Better.

Quitting is not an option.

Author’s note: This writ, originally written in May 2015, is Chapter 2 in the book 1-800-OH-MY-DONALD, a commentary on the politics of our times. It seems that Mr. Donald Trump has stirred the spirit of the nation and forced a long overdue conversation on the inefficiencies of government and bureaucracy and politics.

The book is not an endorsement of any political figure but more so provides the talking points they are missing. LOL

The Donald is sure controversial, but who cares? He has raised the bar.

No chapter is more than three pages and each is loaded frowns and smiles.

The book is humorous and provocative.

“Oh My Donald” OMD: Opinions Of Mass Destruction…. of the status quo….LOL
